Abraham Fox

Abraham Fox, 61, of Clarksdale, MS passed away Saturday June 14, 2025 at Baptist Memorial Crittenden-West Memphis, AR.  Abraham was born August 15, 1963 in Clarksdale, MS to Abraham Morris and Mary Fox.

Abraham was a custodian for Clarksdale Municipal School District for over 40 years and also did security at Ground Zero Blues Club.  If you saw him throughout the community, he was moving fast pace and always had a smile on his face.  

Per his last wishes, there will be a visitation and burial to follow. Visitation will be Friday June 27, 2025 from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.  

Abraham was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Fox, daughter Amanda McCray, and his parents, Abraham Morris and Mary Fox; 4 brothers. 

Abraham leaves to cherish his memories 4 daughters Shakila McCray, Gwendolyn McCray, Kendra McCray, and Shenika Foster; 2 sons; Kendrick McCray and Marvell Fox; 6 sisters, 8 brothers, 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
