Anthony Collier

Anthony Collier, 76, of Horn Lake, MS, originally from Dublin, MS, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023.  He was born to the late Nancy G. and Willie Drew Collier. 

Anthony attended Dublin Elementary and graduated from Coahoma Agricultural High School in 1965.  He then served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War after which he attended Coahoma Junior College and later received his Bachelor of Science degree from Jackson State University.

Visitation/Family Hour will be Saturday, May 27, 2023, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Royal Funeral Home, 507 Ashton Ave., Clarksdale, MS.  The Celebration of Life will be Sunday, May 28, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at King’s Temple M. B. Church, 1402 Lyon Street, Clarksdale, MS.  His pastor, Brother Keith D. Powell, will officiate.  Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery.

Anthony leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Portia Collier, two grandchildren, Damien and Tania Jordan; a brother, Nayland (Linda) Collier; three sisters, Shirley (Roger) Greene, Merle Agnew, and Delores Stanford; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
