The journey of Anthony P. Dixon, Sr. began on February 19, 1987, in Mound Bayous, MS to the late Leon Waller, Jr., and the late Velma Lee Raggs.
Anthony departed this life of February 27, 2025, with the grace and honor surrounded by family.
Anthony confessed his life for Christ at an early age at St. James AME Church in Leland, MS.
Anthony was educated at Mississippi School for the Deaf, where he received his high school diploma. He furthered his education at Hinds Community College in Jackson, MS and earned a certification as an electrician.
Visitation will be Friday March 8, 2025 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Royal Funeral Home. There will also be a public visitation at St. James A.M.E. Church, Leland, MS from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM. The Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Bogue Memorial Gardens. Rev. Cedell Raggs, Sr., Pastor and Officiant.
Anthony was preceded in death by his father, Leon Waller, Jr., mother, Velma Lee Raggs, sister, Rolanda Dixon, brother, Leon Waller, III, grandparents, Alberta Waller, Mary Green Waller, and Ruby M. Raggs, uncle, Fred Raggs, Sr. and grandson, Ashton Dixon.
Anthony leaves to cherish his only child, Anthony (Aisha) Dixon, Jr., 3 sisters, Debra Waller of St. Louis, MO, Demetric WIlliams and Nikeka (David) Williams, both of Greenville, MS, 5 brothers, Bennie (Lena) Dixon, Jr. of Greenville, MS; Ronnie (Diane) Dixon, of Greenville, MS; Timothy (Shirley) Williams, Sr. of Lyon, MS, Kenneth (Aretha) Williams of Greenville, MS, and Theodore (Carrie) Harris of Greenville, MS; 5 grandchildren, Ayainnah Jones, Jaxson Mack, Jace Jones, Jahkyrux Dixon, and Jah'mariyeon Dixon, all of Dallas, TX, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
