Anthony Charles Hill

Anthony Charles Hill, 41, of Edmond, OK, passed away Tuesday September 17, 2019.  Anthony was born December 19, 1977 in Clarksdale, MS to Charlene Hill and Anthony Pittman.  

Anthony was a resident of Clarksdale, MS prior to graduating from Clarksdale High School, Class of 1996.  Anthony was known to be a "Math Wiz".  Anthony was a scholar indeed, having received degrees from Clark Atlanta University and Langston University, where he was currently a professor of Mathematics.  Anthony had a sense of humor that could light up a room, and he was passionate about his craft.

A visitation is scheduled Saturday September 21, 2019 from 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Temple and Sons, Oklahoma City, OK.  You can view the arrangements at templeandsons.com. Visitation will also be Friday, September 27, 2019 from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Royal Funeral Home, Clarksdale, MS.  The Celebration of Life will be Saturday, September 28, 2019, 11:00 AM at Union Grove M.B. Church, 2237 North State Street, Clarksdale, MS 38614.  Rev. L.C. Tyler II will be officiating.  Burial will follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery, Hwy 61S, Lyon, MS.

Anthony leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Aoulanda Ray-Hill; 2 daughters, Jakara Ray, Amaria Hill; 1 son, Xavier Jones; 4 sisters, Anjavette Payton, Rava Pittman, Dietriche Jones, Lanita Hill; 2 brothers, Ricardo Hill, Lardell Hill; a host of other relatives and friends.
