Mr. Bobby J Washington was born November 7, 1949 in Swan Lake, MS to the late James L Washington, Sr. and Ruth Elizabeth Washington (Toy).
Bobby attended school at Black Bayou Elementary and West District High School. He was one of the best linebackers to play for West District. Bobby accepted Christ in his life at an early age at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Swan Lake, MS under the leadership of Rev. Nixon. Bobby Moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan where he was a faithful member of Messiah M. B. Church under Rev. Clifton Rhodes Jr.
Visitation will be Friday August 5, 2022 from 4pm - 6pm at Royal Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be Saturday August 6, 2022, 1:00 PM, at Morning Star Church of God in Christ, Charleston, MS.
Bobby made his earthly departure on July 26, 2022 and was preceded in death by his father, mother, and brothers, Eddie L. Washington and James L. Washington Jr.
Bobby leaves to cherish her memories, his wife of 46 years, Marilyn Washington; five sons, Bobby Carter, Kenny Dorris, Kelvin (Kimwanna) Washington, Karl (Jennifer) Washington, and Davin (Nicole) Washington; one daughter Laura Collins; four sister; Betty Washington, Ruth Hawkins, Graces Hayes, and Marilyn (Raymond) Kelly. One brother; Michael Washington. A special son (grandson) Kelvin (Allexus) Washington Jr. and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews
