Brenda Sue Rash, known by most as “Poncho” departed this life on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was born on June 4, 1961 to the late Johnny Wilkins and Willie Bernice Rash.
Brenda loved everybody and she brought light and joy to everyone that she met. She attended the public school system in Clarksdale, MS.
Brenda is preceded in death by her loving parents~ Johnny Wilkins and Willie Bernice Rash and her siblings Earnestine Wilkins, Retha Harris, Willie Bernice Gavin, Mamie Gavin, Charles Rash, Nelson Gavin, Andrew Wilkins, Johnny Wilkins and Junior Gavin.
Visitation will be Friday February 14, 2025 from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM. The Celebration of Life will be Saturday February 15, 2025, 11:00 AM at Union Grove MB Church. Burial will follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
Brenda leaves to cherish her memories two daughters: Samantha (Dion Tubbs) Rash and Andrea Rash both on Milwaukee, WI; 4 sisters: Linda, Marilyn and Jackie Rash all of Clarksdale, MS and Mary Wilkins of Memphis, TN; 5 brothers: Jessie James Gavin of Florida, Johnny Wilkins (Demetris) of Robinsonville, MS and Floyd Rash of Parchman, MS, Tommy and Odis Wilkins of Memphis, TN; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
