Carolyn D Smith

Carolyn D. Smith, 49, of Memphis, TN passed away Sunday March 15, 2020 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN.  Carolyn was born June 11, 1970 in Clarksdale, MS to Charles Davis and Joyce Morris.  

Carolyn was a resident of Clarksdale, MS for over thirty years and relocated to Memphis, TN where she lived the remainder of her life.  

Visitation will be Friday March 27, 2020 from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Royal Funeral Home.  The Celebration of Life will be Saturday March 28, 2020, 12:00 PM (Noon) at New Jerusalem M.B. Church, 835 Florida Ave., Clarksdale, MS 38614. Evangelist Linda Downing will be officiating.  The burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery.  

Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, Charles Davis.

Carolyn leaves to cherish her memories three children, La'keia Smith-Wilson, Derrick Lee Smith, both of Clarksdale, MS, and Curtis Smith of West Memphis, AR; one sister Earnestine Smith; two brothers, Johnny Smith and Alexander Smith; a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
