Catina LaSha Melton

Catina Melton, a loving, wife, daughter, mother, aunt, cousin, and friend, Leon Evans, a loving, husband, son, father, uncle, cousin, and friend, and Trentajah Melton, a loving daughter, cousin, niece, and friend passed away Aug. 7, 2020 from a fatal car accident at the ages of 45, 39, and 3.

Visitaton will be Wednesday August 12, 2020 at Royal Funeral Home from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM.   A graveside memorial will be held Thursday August 13, 2020 at Beautiful Zion Cemetery, Bobo, MS at 11:00 AM.

Catina is survived by her parents, Valerie Melton Ringo and Terry Ringo of Clarksdale, MS, and Reginald (Martha) Thomas of Memphis, TN; her children, Reneé Melton and Danielle Melton of Clarksdale, MS; her siblings, Eddie C. Melton (Tonya) of Clarksdale, MS, Muzette (Bernard) Walker of Tupelo, MS, Jessica (Steffon) Crume of Memphis, Terry Melton Ringo, Justin Porter and Jason Porter of Clarksdale, MS. As well as her father-in-love Eddie Jackson of Clarksdale, MS. She is predeceased by her grandmothers, Annie Mae Melton and Odessa Thomas of Clarksdale, MS and her grandfathers, Jesse Melton and Tyrone Thomas of Clarksdale, MS.

Catina was born September 1, 1974 to Valerie Melton Ringo and Reginald Thomas. She graduated Clarksdale High on 1994. She gave birth to her daughters on April 5, 1993 and July 11, 2001 respectively.

Catina enjoyed singing and dancing. Her last moments were focused on her grandbaby and not herself.
