Climmie Jean Montgomery Reddix

Climmie Jean Montgomery Reddix was born on February 8, 1968, in Clarksdale, Mississippi, and transitioned peacefully on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Saint Francis Hospital. Climmie dedicated her life to Christ at an early age, a testament to her faith that guided her throughout her life.

A proud graduate of the Class of 1986 from Aggie High School, Climmie was an active member of the CJC Tiger Marching Band, showcasing her vibrant spirit and passion for music. She pursued her education further at Mississippi Valley State University, where she laid the foundation for her diverse career.

Climmie embraced the joys of life, often found cooking delectable meals, decorating her space with love, and cherishing every moment spent with family. Her warmth and hospitality touched the lives of many, making her a beloved figure among friends and relatives.

Visitation will be Friday November 1, 2024, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Royal Funeral Home.  The Celebration of Life will be Saturday November 2, 2024, 2:00 PM at Union Grove MB Church.  Rev. Wilbert Reddics will be officiating.  Rev. L.C. Tyler, II, Pastor.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Dan Montgomery, and her grandparents, Milton Turner and Clinnie Montgomery. Climmie leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory in their hearts: her devoted husband, Kenneth Reddix; her children, Eric Montgomery, Kennitra Reddix, Cateira Reddix, Sherelle Reddix, Patrice Reddix, Kendria Thomas, and Mikayla Reddix; her grandchildren, Camesha, Dykeria, Dy’willie (JR), Key’Arii, Jaylen, Keyshawn, JaKiyah, and Jamaryi; and her great-grandson, Kingston.

She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Ann Turner and Cassandra Montgomery; her godsister, Destiny Haro; and a host of in-laws, aunts, uncles, family, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Climmie's legacy of love, kindness, and strength will forever resonate in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
