Cora Lee Cooper, 74, of Clarksdale, MS died Friday August 28, 2015 at Merit Health Northwest Hospital. She was born May 4, 1941 to John Ruffin and Estell Crockett. She formerly served as personnel director for the City of Clarksdale. Visitation will be Friday, September 4, 2015 from 1pm-5pm at Royal Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 5, 2015, 12 Noon, at King Temple MB Church with the Rev. James Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at McLaurin Gardens in Lyon, MS. She leaves to cherish her memories two sons; Derrick Cooper (Pamela) and Duane Cooper (Melissa);6 Grandchildren; a special friend; Catherine Wiley.
