Curtis Bernard Stewart was born March 20, 1970, to Donald Washington and Ollie Stewart Washington in Clarksdale, Ms. He peacefully departed this life on August 19, 2024, at his home.
Curtis learned about Jehovah at the young age of twelve.
Curtis moved to Milwaukee in 1983 and was a graduate of Pulaski High School. He was a gentle giant that radiated a bright light upon all that he met and knew. His laughter was joyous and embodied happiness upon us all. He possessed a love for basketball, science of technology and the art of cooking. Curtis worked for 15 years as a chef for Aliotos Restaurant in Milwaukee before becoming employed at Transit Express as a Driver.
Funeral service will be held Saturday September 7, 2024, 1:00 PM at Jerusalem MB Church. Burial will follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
Curtis was preceded in death by his: maternal grandparents Ethel and Alonza Stewart; paternal grandparents, Rosie Lee Jones and Willie Washington and his sister, Jennifer Washington.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Ollie (Clifton) Binns of Milwaukee, WI; his father, Donald Washington (Carol) and Second mother, Ethel Washington (Marvin) All of Clarksdale, Ms.; Two brothers: Donald Washington of Milwaukee, WI and Donald Stuckey of Clarksdale Ms. Three sisters: Denise Lee (Marvin) and Katrena Stuckey-Ford (Cecil) both of Clarksdale, Ms.; and Rita Binns of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Three sons: Curtis Steward and Elijah Stewart, both of Milwaukee, WI and Corey Rodriguez of Atlanta, Georgia; Four daughters: Jennifer Stewart, Jasmin Stewart, LaQuesha McGlaston, and Natasha Stewart, all of Milwaukee, WI; twelve Grandchildren, a dear friend Enid Rodriguez, and a host of other relatives and friends.
