Cynthia Lampkin

Cynthia Lampkin, 63, of Clarksdale, MS passed away Sunday June 21, 2020.  Cynthia was born August 28, 1957 in Clarksdale, MS to SL and Irene Lampkin.

Cynthia was loved by her family, friends, and those she came in contact with.  Cynthia was a graduate of Coahoma Community College and a teacher and Center Director at Irene's All In One Resource Center.  Cynthia was a lifelong resident of the Clarksdale community and a member of New Jerusalem M.B. Church under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Jimmy Glasper.  Cynthia was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary 1034.

Visitation will be Friday June 26, 2020 from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Royal Funeral Home.  The family hour will follow from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM.  The Graveside Memorial will be Saturday June 27, 2020, 11:00 AM at Oakridge Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Glasper officiating.  The family is asking everyone who will be participating  in the funeral processional to line up at 735 Leflore St., Clarksdale, MS 38614 at 10:00 AM.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her father and mother, SL & Irene Lampkin.

Cynthia leaves to cherish her memories four children Andre Lampkin, Tameka Lampkin, Edward Lampkin, and Samuel Lampkin; five sisters, Delores Marshall, Dorothy Jones, Martha Jackson, Patricia Lampkin, Vanasser Lampkin; two brothers Luther Lampkin and SL Lampkin Jr.; fifteen grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
