Dayeveon LaDarious Hill, 18, of Clarksdale, MS, died Wednesday, February 8, 2017. Dayeveon was born May 13, 1998 in Clarksdale to LaDayton Williams and Lekitha Hill. Dayeveon a.k.a. "Smooth" was a graduating senior at Clarksdale High School and was the captain of the Clarksdale High School Wildcats 2016 football team. On February 1, 2017, Dayeveon signed with Pearl River Community College to play football with a promising career ahead. Visitation will be Friday, February 17, 2017 from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Real Faith Christian Church, 600 Yazoo Ave., Clarksdale, MS 38614. Family hour will follow from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM. The funeral service will be Saturday, February 18, 2017, 11:00 AM, at Union Grove M.B. Church, 2237 North State St., Clarksdale, MS 38614. Zedrick Clayton, pastor of Real Faith Christian Center "City of Truth", will be officiating. The body will lie in state an hour before the funeral service.
