DeWanda Deonsha O’Bryant

DeWanda Deonsha O’Bryant was to Dorothy and Percy Dukes on October 7, 1987 in Clarksdale, MS.  God put his loving arms around DeWanda Deonsha O’Bryant and whispered, “Take Your Rest.”  DeWanda began a new journey on Wednesday November 29, 2023 with her new wings, but certainly the same soul.

Visitation will be Friday December 8, 2023, from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Royal Funeral Home.  The Celebration of Life will be Saturday December 9, 2023, 11:00 AM, at Beautiful Zion MB Church, Friars Point, MS. Rev. Sammie Collins will be officiating.  Burial will follow at Friars Point Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Helen Jean O’Bryant and Ruby & James Dukes; (2) uncles Lionel & James Jr.

DeWanda Deonsha (Bug) memories will last forever in the hearts of those who loved her dearly; (2) daughters Jeremiracle (Pokey) Hooper, D’Nelia (Nelia) Smith; (1) son Cornelio (Nelio) Smith, all of Clarksdale, MS; (1) sister Vera (Richard) Trotter; (2) nieces Portia Trotter & Leila Haggan; a special cousin Timothy (Tim) Payno; best friends Kendall Grayson, Eddrina (Drina) Magsby; a very special cousin Christopher (Head) O’Bryant; a host of other relatives and friends.
