Debra Ann Crockett was born on January 12, 1966 in Clarksdale, MS to Willie Mae Crockett. At an early age, she gave her life to Christ. She excelled as an athlete at Higgins Jr. High School in Clarksdale. She worked at Cooper Tire for a few years and was known for her strength, laughter, kindness, and sense of humor. Debra was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother.
On Thursday, May 8, 2025, God called Debra home. Visitation will be Friday May 23, 2025 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. The Celebration of Life will be Saturday May 24, 2025, 11:00 AM at McKinley Church of Christ. Burial will be follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Minister Oscar Dorsey will be officiating.
She is survived by her children: son, Terrance Crockett; daughters, Sherrie (Courtney) Williams, Rhonda & Shunda Crockett; her mom, Willie Mae Crockett; five grandchildren: Shuaquea Williams, Jordan Williams, Breanna Johnson, Elijah Crockett, and Delaney Crockett. She also had one great-grandchild, Paige Ratliff. She also leaves five siblings; Pamela Andrews, Derick (Tamela) Crockett, Latoya (Michael) Vaughn, Katrina Crockett, and Toccaro Nicholson; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
