Delilah Reed Figgs

Delilah Reed Figgs, 62, of Clarksdale, MS passed away on Tuesday December 31, 2019 at Baptist Belhaven Hospital in Jackson, MS.  Delilah was born October 25, 1957 to Excel and Bertha Reed (Haywood).

Delilah was a supervisor at the Department of Human Services prior to retiring on June 25, 2010.  Delilah a.k.a. "Ann Reed" was also known in the Riverton community where she spent most of her life.  Delilah was a member of Faith Temple Word of Faith Christian Church located in Tutwiler, MS.

Visitation will be Friday January 3, 2020 from 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM at Royal Funeral Home.  The Celebration of Life will be Saturday January 4, 2020, 2:30 PM at Union Grove MB Church, 2237 North State Street, Clarksdale, MS 38614.  Dr. Johnnie Blount of Bridging the Gap Ministry, Wilson, NC will be officiating and Rev. L.C. Tyler II is Pastor.  Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery.

Delilah was preceded in death by her husband, James Figgs.

Delilah leaves to cherish her memories three daughters, Valerie Williams (Keith), Kristie Reed, Brittany Reed; two brothers, Excell Reed, Jr., Robert Reed; one grandchild, Carson Reed Williams; a host of other relatives and friends.
