Demonta Waters

On August 4,1988, Demonta Demario Waters was born to the late Ms. Flowrine Waters and Melvin Lewis.

Demonta was a very intelligent and enlightened individual. He was a lover of art and drawing was his passion.  Demonta graduated from West Tallahatchie High School in 2009. He then furthered his education and received his Associates Degree from Coahoma Community College.

Visitation will be Friday, October 13, 2023 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Royal Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be Saturday October 14, 2023, 12:00 PM, at Mt. Calvary MB Church, Tutwiler, MS.  A visitation will precede from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Brooklyn Church Cemetery.  

Demonta transitioned on October 1, 2023. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ms. Flowrine Waters.

Demonta’s memories will live on in the hearts of his father Melvin Lewis. Sister; Dekendra Waters of Walls, MS. Brothers; Derrick Waters of Houston, TX, Demetrius Ratliff of Southaven, MS, Deterrius Greer of Clarksdale, MS, and Antwon Williams of Southaven, MS. Nieces and Nephews; James, Janyla, Javier, Daylon, Safiya, and Sariah; as well as a host of family and friends.
