Dorothy Jean Allen Cohen

Mrs. Dorothy Cohen was born July 18, 1937 in Parkin, Arkansas to the late Rubin Allen and Jessie Mae Mitchell. She transitioned from this life July 12, 2022.

Dorothy graduated from Century High School in Parkin, Arkansas in 1955. Dorothy moved to Clarksdale, MS in 1970 and worked as an Assistant Manager at Kentucky Fried Chicken until she retired. 

Visitation will be at Royal Funeral Home from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM Friday July 22, 2022.  The Celebration of Life will be Saturday July 23, 2022, 2:00 PM at Union Grove MB Church with Minister Aaron Ducksworth officiating.  Burial will follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.

Preceding her in death is her husband Luther Cohen, her parents Rubin Allen and Jessie Mae Mitchell, her sister Betty Miles, and her grandson Christain Cohen. 

Dorothy leaves behind to cherish her memories: Four daughters, Dianne ( Martin) Ellington, Vanessa Cohen, Sophia Cohen of Clarksdale, MS, and Sharon Cohen of Benton Harbor, MI, two sons, Alford ( Lashandra) Cohen of Goodyear, AZ and Kenneth Cohen of Jackson, TN. 20 grandchildren, 30 great grand children and 9 nieces and nephews
