Dorothy R. Jackson, 100, died Monday September 8, 2014 at Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. She was born April 18, 1914 in Vance, MS. Visitation will be held Friday September 12, 2014 at Royal Funeral Home from 1pm - 5pm. Funeral service will be Saturday September 13, 2014, 12 Noon, at Pleasant Hope MB Church, 945 Sixth St., Lambert, MS, 38643. Rev. Marvin Pryor will be officiating. Burial will follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery, Lyon, MS. She leaves to cherish her memories 1 son; Robert Jackson, Jr ; a special daughter in law; Inez Ross Jacksons; both from Clarksdale, MS. Royal Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
