Eddie Lee Marbley

Eddie Lee Marbley was born February 2, 1959 to the late Roosevelt and Cora Marbley.  Eddie confessed his hope in Jesus Christ and was baptized at an early age.

Eddie was united in holy matrimony on September 9, 1989 to the late Gladys Marbley.  ON February 25, 2021.  Eddie completed his earthly journey.  Eddie was known as a hard worker and a dedicated loving husband, father, and grandfather.  Eddie was employed at Riceland Foods as a grain dryer operator supervisor from 1985 until retirement in 2007.

Visitation will be Friday March 5, 2021 from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM at Royal Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be Saturday March 6, 2021, 11:00 AM, at Bell Grove M.B. Church.  Rev. Matthew Terrell, pastor of Bell Grove M.B. Church, will be officiating.  

Eddie was preceded in death by his wife Gladys Marbley; his parents Cora and Roosevelt Marbley; one son Kendrick Roberson; three brothers Willie Joe Wofford, Kennedy Marbley, Roosevelt Marbley; one sister Quincy Williams.

Eddie leaves to cherish his memories to six children Carolyn Goodman, Joyce Love, Eddie Marbley Jr., Lisa Marbley, Doris A. Marbley, all of Clarksdale, MS; Cornelius Wilkins of Stuark, Florida; one Godchild Alexis Crumb; two sisters Juanita (late Cornelius) Wesley of Chicago, Illinois; Bobbie (James) Johnson of Tupelo, MS; five brothers Willie (Linda) Marbley, David (Doris) Marbley, Tim Marbley, Kenyartte (Cashara) Wofford all of Clarksdale, MS; Purnell Moore of Friars Point, MS; sixteen grandchildren; one special grandchild  Koreya Davis, ten great-grandchildren; two special friends John Taylor and Tyrone “T-Y” Johnson both of Clarksdale, MS; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
