Fannie Mae Davis

Fannie Mae Davis, 83, of Friars Point, MS passed away Sunday January 26, 2020 at home.  Fannie was born August 21, 1936 in Robinsonville, MS to Robert and Elzina Barkley.  

Fannie was a lifelong resident of the Friars Point Community.  Fannie was known for her kind and generous acts throughout the community.  Fannie was a bus driver during her working career for Coahoma County School District and will be remembered as a mother to many because of her kind heart.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Beautiful Zion MB Church, 5 Hwy 61, Friars Point, MS 38631 Friday January 31, 2020.  The Celebration of Life will be Saturday February 1, 2020, 12:00 Noon at Beautiful Zion MB Church with the Rev. Samuel Sculark officiating.  The burial will follow at Friars Point Cemetery.

Fannie leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Jerline Davis and Victoria Davis; three sons, Joseph Bernard Davis, Carl Lee Davis, Freddie Davis; four sisters, Augusta Rowe, Dorothy Thomas, Marie Lloyd, Le Anna Wright; one brother, Leonard Conrad (Gwendelyn);a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
