Fred Thomas Jr.

Fred Thomas Jr., 66, of Clarksdale, MS, departed this life on May 27, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital, Memphis, TN.  Fred was born March 26, 1952 in Clarksdale, MS to Fred Thomas Sr. and Earlene Thomas (Mixon).  

During his working career, Fred was a maintenance man at Bally's Casino, Robinsonville, MS.  Fred was a deacon at Union Grove MB Church.

Visitation will Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Royal Funeral Home from 12pm - 4pm.  The funeral service will be held  Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Union Grove MB Church, 2:00 PM with the Rev. L.C. Tyler II officiating.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Hwy 6 East, Lyon, MS.

Fred leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Earlene Thomas; 5 children, Vanessa Taylor, Joann Lester, Patricia Leflore, Crystal Negron, Dominique Mcintyre; 2 brothers, Isiah Thomas, Willie B. Thomas; 4 sisters, Lena James, Marilyn Harris, Mary Wright, Glenda Hilson; 17 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
