Henry Grandberry Jr., was born to Henry Grandberry Sr. and Laura Stuckey Grandberry on July 18, 1966 in Clarksdale, MS. Henry departed this life on September 13, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN.
Henry “Bro Baby”, attended Coahoma Agricultural High School (Aggie). He later attended Job Corp in Batesville, MS where he earned his diploma. Henry worked as a Certified Tire Technician for the Coahoma County Road Department until he retired due to his health failing.
Visitation will be Friday September 20, 2019 from 12:00 PM – 3:30 PM at Royal Funeral Home. The family hour will resume from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. The Celebration of Life will be Saturday September 21, 2019 at 2:00 PM with the Rev. L.C. Tyler II officiating. The burial will follow at McLaurin Gardens.
Henry was preceded in death by his father, Henry Grandberry Sr.; one son, Henry Grandberry; grandparents, J.C. and Ruthie Lee Stuckey, Ananias and Bertha Grandberry; one sister, Ruthie Grandberry; one brother-in-law, Demeion Robinson.
He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Laura Hampton (Willie Larry); his wife, Lorine Grandberry; one daughter, Jo’Vaugh Carter (Falendo) of Tunica, MS; two sons, Dykelius Grandberry of Clarksdale, MS, Henry Douglas Grandberry of Atlanta, GA; mother-in-law, Mildren Brown (Johnny) of Clarksdale, MS; three sisters, Laura Mitchell (Henry) of Clarksville, TN, Rebecca Cavett (Lawerance) and Sherry Clark (O’Neal) both of Memphis, TN; five aunts, Ruthie Hackett (Ennis), Ethel Stuckey (Marvin), Paula Davis (Terry), Bertha Jackson, all of Clarksdale, MS and Patricia Whitfield (Robert) of Jacksonville, AR; three uncles, M.C. Stuckey (Della) and Paul Stuckey (Shirley) both of Clarksdale, MS, Charles Stuckey (Emma) of Kansas City, MO; best friends, Frank Green Jr. and Michael Townsend, both of Clarksdale, MS; three sister-in-laws, two brother-in-laws, and a host of other relatives and friends.
