Jacqueline Lynette Richardson, 55, of Clarksdale, MS died Monday January 9, 2017. Jacqueline was born June 23, 1961 in Clarksdale to Lula D. Wright and Jerry Allen Wilson. Jacqueline retired from the Mississippi Department of Corrections. She also served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army until her honorable discharge in 1991. She was a member of New Life Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, Clarksdale, MS. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Allen Wilson, Sr. and grandmother, Lillie Wilson. Visitation will be Friday, January 13, 2017 from 1pm-5pm at Royal Funeral Home. A family hour will follow from 5:30 PM -7:30 PM. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 14, 2107, 1:00 PM, at the Church of God In Christ State Headquarters Building, 376 Sunflower Ave., Clarksdale, MS 38614, with the Rev. Limon Brown officiating. Burial will be Tuesday, January 17, 2017, 2:30 PM, at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd., Memphis, TN 38125. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Christopher Richardson Sr.; mother; Lula D. Thames; 2 children; Erica Wilson Armstrong, Christopher Richardson, Jr.; 3 sisters; Janet Napier, Natonya Wilson, Carolyn Young; 3 brothers; Jerry Wilson, DuShaun Wilson, Timothy Wilson; 4 grandchildren; Jaylen Armstrong, Jorden Armstrong, Londen Armstrong, Rayme Armstrong.
