Jessie James Brooks

Jessie James Brooks, 70, of Clarksdale, MS passed away Saturday December 15, 2018 at home.  Jessie was born May 22, 1948 to George Brooks, Sr. and Rosie Lee Glasper. 

Jessie was known throughout the Clarksdale community.  Jessie served as an usher at Centennial Baptist Church in Clarksdale.  Whether you were at a local gas station, business, or traveling along the way in Clarksdale, Jessie would cross your path. 

Visitation will be Friday from 1pm-5pm at Royal Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be at New Hope M.B. Church, 337 Madison Ave., Clarksdale, MS 38614 at 11:00 AM.  The Rev. Michael Moore will be officiating.  Burial will follow at the Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
