John Wesley Battle

John Wesley Battle, 61, of Friars Point, MS passed away Thursday September 5, 2019 at Baptist Memorial in Southaven, MS.  John was born June 10, 1958 in Clarksdale, MS.  

Visitation will be Friday September 13, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Royal Funeral Home.  A family hour will follow from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.  The celebration of life will be Saturday September 14, 2019, 11:00 AM, at New Prospect M.B. Church with the Rev. Nicholas Artis officiating.  The burial will follow at the Friars Point Cemetery.  

John leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Shelia Battle; 5 children, Lateefia (Jeff) Glasper, Brandon Neal, Ndidi Davis, Janelle Battle, John Battle Sr.; 4 sisters, Bunny Ruth Spanks, Sabrina Okwumud, Janeria Battle, Primose Battle; 6 grandchildren, Vicshaneria Glasper, Semaj Glasper, Jeremiah Williams, Joshua Williams, Roger Grace, Jr., Nadia Davis.
