LeDora Ferguson, 85, of Shaw, MS passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She was born April 18, 1931 in Helen, MS to Johnny Ferguson and Elnora Cater. She started out her career in the food industry serving as a cook for 10+ years at Williams Café. She also worked as a caregiver. Visitation will be Friday, August 12, 2016 from 1pm-5pm at Royal Funeral Home, 507 Ashton Ave., Clarksdale, MS. The family hour will follow from 6pm-8pm at the same location. The remains will lie in state August 13TH, from 12pm-1pm at St. Paul M.B. Church, 722 Quinn Road, Shaw, MS 38773. Funeral service will begin at 1pm with the Rev. Eddie Johnson officiating. The interment will proceed at St. Paul M.B. Church cemetery. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elnora Carter, father, Johnny Ferguson, sister, Lee Flora Collins, daughter, Freda Ferguson, and son, Johnny Ferguson She leaves to cherish her memories six children, Betty Stanton, Louella Simpson, Terri Ferguson, Ruth Jenkins, Dorothy Ferguson, Bobby Ferguson; 2 brothers; Sammy Ferguson, Robert Ferguson; 1 sister; Esther Moment; 22 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great grandchildren.
