Leotis Moore was born on Saturday, June 19,1965 in Clarksdale, MS to the late Willie Moore, Jr. and late Bertha Mae Moore. Leotis accepted Christ at an early age at Silent Groove Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend E.L. Johnson.
Leotis grew up in Riverton where he was beloved and well known in his community. He attended Riverton Elementary school and Clarksdale High School where he met his High School Sweetheart Christine R. McNeal. Leotis was well educated, loving, he cherished his family and friends, and was a beloved husband to his wife. Leotis was Self-employed as a painter until he became ill. He departed this Life on December 28, 2024, at Northwest Medical Regional Center in Clarksdale, MS
Visitation will be Thursday, January 9, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Royal Funeral Home. The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, January 10, 2024, 2:00 PM, at Union Grove MB Church. Burial will follow at McLaurin Memorial Gardens.
Leotis Moore was preceded in death by his loving parents Willie Moore, Sr. and Bertha Mae Moore, 5 brothers: Willie Moore Jr., Elex Moore, Leroy Moore, John Henry Moore, and Will Moore, his grandparents: Julia P. Brown and Willie H. Moore, John and Minnie Quinn and other relatives.
Leotis leaves to cherish his precious memories: his wife of 42 years Christine McNeal, two sons: Leotis McNeal (Lakeya) of Acworth, GA, and Jeremy McNeal (Stephaine) of Woodstock, GA, three: grandchildren: Brianna McNeal, Austin McNeal, and Karter McNeal, one sister: Gladys Barnes of Dallas, Tx, and a host of nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and friends.
