Lillie Mae Thomas

Lillie Mae Thomas, 80, of Clarksdale, MS, died July 20, 2018 at Baptist Memorial, Southaven, MS.  Lillie was born April 3, 1938 in Clarksdale, MS to Ira Thomas, Sr. and Ethel Jean Thomas.  During her career, she was an educator.  Lillie was a member of St. James Temple Church of God in Christ.  

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Royal Funeral Home.  A family hour will follow from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  The celebration of life will be Thursday, July 26, 2018 tentatively scheduled for 5:00 PM at St. James Temple Church of God in Christ with Bishop T.T. Scott presiding, and to honor Lillie's wishes, a sunset burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery.  

Lillie leaves to cherish her memories her only daughter, LuSonne Thomas-Stevens; 3 grandchildren, Wendolyn Sheree Stevens of Cleveland, MS, Grady Marion Stevens, Sr. and Joshua Thomas Stevens, both of Clarksdale, MS; 4 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
