Mary Ann Petro

Mary was born July 11, 1953 in Sumner, MS to the late Jeff and Mary Jackson.  She was the mother of five children.  She met Robert Brown at the age of forty-six with whom she was with for twenty years.

Mary loved to fish and spend time caring for her grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday February 22, 2020 from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Royal Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be Sunday February 23, 2020 at New Cassidy MB Church, 3690 Hwy 6, Lyon, MS 38645.  Rev. Andre Ramsey will be officiating.  The burial will follow in Sumner, MS at Good Hope Cemetery (Goosepond). 

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Jeff and Mary Jackson; three sisters Zula Sharp, Bular Bankston, Maria Stokes; three brothers Willie Lee Bankston, Charlie Bankston, and Johnnie Bankston.

She leaves to cherish her memories five children Earl (Shank) Jackson of Memphis, TN, Shanita (Nee) Berryhill of Clarksdale, MS, Eric (Rachel) Petro of Kennett, MO, Otis (Boggie) Petro of Lima, OH, Zula Petro (Howard Hoskins) of Webb, MS; three brothers Howard (Gene) Bankston of Richland Town Park, Jesse Jackson of South Holland, Herman Jackson of Arkansas; one loving sister Classie L Lewis Williams of Chicago Heights; fourteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, her closet surviving friend and special sister-in-law, Mary Smith, and a host of other relatives and friends.
