Morton Ross, 82, of Gunnison, MS, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Kings Daughters hospital in Greenville, MS. He was born August 31, 1932 to he late Peter Ross and Viola Lawson. Visitation will be Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Rose Hill M.B. Church. Funeral service will proceed at 2pm with the Rev. Allen officiating. Burial will follow at the Morning Star Cemetery, Gunnison, MS. He leaves to cherish his memories 2 sons; Richard Jones, L.C. Jones; 3 daughters; Alberta Hall, Earnestine Kidd, Lula Young; 1 brother; Ira Payne; 1 sister; Odessa Owen; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
