The Life

On May 1, 2020, Roosevelt Johnson was born to Frank & Virginia Johnson.  He went to school at Chilo M.B. Church until he was old enough to enter the work force.

The Love

Living in Clarksdale, MS, Roosevelt met his soulmate, Easter Marie Benson.  Together they bore three children.  Before the birth of his last three children, he bore one child with Delores Johnson.

The Legacy

Roosevelt was affectionately known as RO.  He worked diligently his whole young life with Mr. Emilio Zipponi as a farmer.  They were more than employer and employee, but were good friends as well.  He retired from farm work as he began to age.  For more than fifty years, he was dad and friend to his children.

Roosevelt was baptized in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  He rededicated his life to Christ six years ago and served Christ until his transitioning.

ok Roosevelt was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Virginia (Whitehead) Johnson; a daughter, Latricia Yolanda Benson; four brothers, Frank Johnson, William Johnson, Robert Johnson, and Robert Johnson; four sisters, Roxianna Johnson, Martha Shumaker, Gracie Lee Hines, and Hattie Jean Samuel.

Roosevelt leaves to cherish his memories his soulmate, Easter Marie Benson; three children, Barbara Ann Johnson, Ronald Dwayne Benson, Roosevelt Benson; one sister, Ethel Louise Wright; twelve grandchildren, Cameron Benson, DeajhaBenson, Jaylin Benson, Roziah Benson, Michael Johnson, Christopher Johnson, Bennie Johnson, Alisha Johnson, LatriciaJohnson, Zakaiyah Johnson, and Bianca Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
