Sgt. Marvin L. Nimock, born September 1, 1954 to his mother Annie Mae Polk and father Major Lamarr Nimock. He confessed Christ at an early age. Marvin departed from this life on January 21, 2021.
Bubba lived his life doing what he liked to do. Marvin attended elementary school at Myrtle Hall. He also attended high school at W.A. Higgins and later graduated from Coahoma Community College. Marvin was honorably discharged from the United States Army on June 25, 1975.
Visitation will be Wednesday January 27, 2021 at Royal Funeral Home from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Graveside Service will be Thursday January 28, 2021, 2:00 PM at Heavenly Rest Cemetery with the Rev. Marvin K. Myles, Sr. officiating. If weather doesn't permit, the family will have a private service at the funeral home for immediate family members only.
Marvin was preceded in death by his mother Annie Nimock and father Major Lamarr Nimock Sr.; one sister Johnnie Nimock; two brothers Martin Nimock "His Twin" and Dwight Nimock.
Martin leaves to cherish his memories one daughter Dana Meosha Vaughn; two sisters Carolyn Nimock Winford, Rochelle D. Woods of Bellwood, IL; two brothers Major Lamarr Nimock Jr. of Florida, James T. Woods Jr. of Chicago, IL; three grandchildren Amber Kiana, Asiha Menee and Caleb Ahmod; two great-grandsons Noel Jaciah and Neygel Amir; his friend Ralph Simpson who Bubba loved dearly; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
