Terry Lynn Jamison was born on October 6, 1969, in Clarksdale, MS to Margaret Jean Jamison and Sidney Jamison. He accepted Christ at an early age and became a devoted member of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Glendora, MS.
Terry graduated from West Tallahatchie High School with the Class of 1987. Shortly after graduation, he enlisted in the Navy and proudly served his country. Continuing his pursuit of education, Terry attended Coahoma Community College, where he earned a degree. He later furthered his education at Hinds Community College, receiving a degree in Culinary Arts.
Visitation will be from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM at Jerusalem MB Church, 1100 Mallard Lane, Glendora, MS 38921. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. Rev. Donnell D. Reddics-Maxie will be officiating. Rev. Robert Gates, pastor. Burial will follow at the Jerusalem MB Church Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents Sidney Jamison and Margaret Jean Jamison, as well as his grandmother Evelyn Mosby.
He leaves to cherish his memories his fiancée, Rosa Allison of Jackson, MS; son Monterrance Collins of Clarksdale, MS; his brother Frederick Jamison of Bossier City, Louisiana; his brother Sidney Frank Burt of Missouri; grandson Marterrius Collins of Clarksdale, MS; his nephew Marcodevel (Peaches) Townes of Tutwiler, MS; his niece Freteisha Chestnut of Robinsonville, MS; his beloved great-nieces and great-nephews, Syerah Townes, Sinnarity Love, Londen Butler, and Greyson Chestnut and a host of relatives and friends.
While our hearts are saddened by his passing, we find comfort in the memories he leaves behind.
