Willie Ann White was born to Eddie Lee Dear Sr and the late Mary Ceal Dear on July 5, 1955 in Bolivar County. Willie Ann confessed a hope in Christ at Mt. Moriah M.B. Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Gregory U Banks and remained under the leadership of Pastor Emmanuel Boone until she departed her earthly life.
Willie Ann started her educational journey at Roundaway School and later transitioned to Higgins Middle School in Clarksdale, MS.
Willie Ann married Calvin White on June 6, 1992 in Clarksdale, MS. Willie Ann was proceeded in death by her mother, Mary Ceal Dear, her brothers, Eddie Dear, Vernell Dear, and Charles Dear, grandmother, Elnora Dear and grandfather, Oscar Dear.
Willie Ann departed this life on Tuesday, October 23, 2025, at Northwest MS Regional Medical Center in Clarksdale, MS. Willie Ann leaves to cherish her memories: her husband: Calvin White, her father: Eddie Lee Dear Sr, 2daughters: Rachel (James) Dear and Tara (Eboni) Butler of Clarksdale, MS; special daughter: Laverne Taylor of California, 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, Arthur Lee Dear Sr of Clarksdale, MS and Leon Dear of St. Louis, MO; 2 sisters: Dorothy Phillips and Charlene Walker both of Decatur, IL, 2 sisters-in-law: Sally Mae White and Mel C (Goberncr) Farmer both from Duncan, MS, 1 brother-in-law: Jessie (Tara) Lake of Alligator, MS, 2 special cousins Eva Mae Dear and Catherine Dear, Special friend: Trina Robinson, special family: Della Mae White and Elijah White, special god-daughters: Tammie Wilson, Georgette Derring, Sherlitha Archer, and Tammie Wolfe-Taylor, special sons: Charles Wilson and Willie Wolfe, special grand-daughter-in-law: Shenita Wolfe, special nieces: Mary Dear and Shandra Holmes, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
